Lake of the Month: Lake Wohlford
We will resume this tour in the fall
This secluded lake is located in the hills above Escondido, approximately 45 miles north of San Diego. Known for its great fishing it is a lovely area for kayaking as well.
The lake is just right for beginning paddlers.
The water is flat, the distance is short and we paddle at a leisurely pace.
After an introductoy paddling lesson we will launch our kayaks and explore the oak-lined lake.
The remote area is habitat to many shorebirds and water birds including white pelicans.
Bring your family and friends for a beautiful morning on the lake. |

$45 per adult includes kayak, paddle, life vest, basic instruction, daily use fee and guide. $18 per child paddling in a boat with an adult. Children 3 and under FREE. $20 discount with your own boat includes daily use fee.

email us. Once your space is reserved, you can download and print the 2-page Trip Sign-up PDF form. Just fill it out and mail or fax it to the address on the form along with your payment. Once your paperwork is received, a confirmation and more detailed information will be sent to you.
