Thanksgiving on the Colorado River

Join us for our annual Thanksgiving adventure on the water. We will spend four glorious days of paddling flat water on the lower Colorado River. Along the way we camp out, explore the wildlife refuge, and visit historic mines and cabins. Family Kayak Adventure Center will provide the holiday turkey and we each bring part of the holiday meal to share.

This is a great trip to learn to be self sufficient in a kayak. Participants are responsible for their own camping gear, food, and drinking water. A detailed itinerary and equipment list is provided.

Costs are $349 per person. Package includes kayaks and paddling gear, camping/parking/shuttle fees and instructor/guide. Both single and double kayaks are available. Round trip ground transportation is provided for the first 7 persons to sign up. $100 discount with your own kayak.

Once your space is reserved, you can download and print the 2-page Trip Sign-up PDF form. Just fill it out and mail or fax it to the address on the form along with your payment. Once your paperwork is received, a confirmation and more detailed information will be sent to you.
