Saturday - Thursday, February 16-21, 2008

Have you every actually touched a whale?
Here is the opportunity to really do it.
The whales are comfortable with the Mexican fishermen so they come right up to the boats for some gentle head rubs.
They really do want to communicate with us.
Here is how our trip lays out. |
We provide round trip ground transportation from San Diego. On the way south we stop for the night in the beautiful boulder and cactus garden of Catavina.
Once in San Ignacio, we will camp on the river in a beautiful date palm oasis and visit the local village with its museum and historic mission built in 1726. The next day we drive out to the lagoon to spend the entire day with the whales. We return to our same campsite that evening. On the way back north we will visit an ancient native rock art site and the beautiful town of Bahia de los Angeles.
