Squaw Lake Weekend on the Lower Colorado River

Friday - Sunday, March 2-4, 2007

Join us on this great flat water paddle on the Colorado River just above the Imperial Dam. We provide the transportation from San Diego to the river, then we launch our boats and paddle up river to our boat-in campsite.

We will spend our days exploring the many reed-lined channels and off-river lakes in the area.

We will spend our evenings around the warmth of the campfire sharing stories and tall tales.

This is a good beginner trip on flat water to learn to be self-sufficient in a kayak. The camping is primitive and each person is responsible to provide drinking water, food, and camping gear. A detailed equipment list will be provided.

$245 per adult, $125 per child sharing the same kayak. Cost includes round-trip transportation from San Diego, kayaks, paddling gear, camping fees, and full-time instructor/guides. Both single and double kayaks are available. $50 discount with your own kayak.
